Since May 2014, Fredville Animal Services (FVAS) has been bringing adoptable pets to neighborhoods across Fredville and nearby communities aboard the Rescue Rover. The climate-controlled trailer, cooled in summer and heated in winter, carries as many as 18 cats and dogs, so residents can meet and adopt a new companion close to home.
Adopting from the Rescue Rover
- Every animal on board can be adopted for just $30.
- Most of the pets have already been spayed or neutered and are current on their vaccinations.
- Staff accept cash, checks and every major credit card except American Express.

You can't miss it: the trailer is wrapped in bold, trippy colors and covered with photos of real pets from the Fredville shelter.
