Property Tax Estimator

The estimator relies on figures the county sends the City once each year, so its numbers may lag behind recent changes. It does, however, account for every exemption recorded on your property.

Use the tool to see which taxing agencies receive a share of your property tax bill. For official, up-to-date values, check with your county appraisal district.

2023 Tax Rate Notice

2023 Tax Rate Notice (PDF)

This notice covers the City of Fredville's property tax rates for 2023. It explains the two rates the City works with when it adopts a tax rate for the current year. The no-new-revenue rate is the one that would raise the same total taxes as the prior year on properties taxed in both years. The voter-approval rate is generally the highest rate a taxing unit may set before an election is required.

Both rates are found by dividing a total tax amount by the current taxable value, after any adjustments state law calls for, and both are stated per $100 of property value.
