Proclamation Request

Proclamations and Recognitions

The city issues proclamations and recognitions to honor special occasions, call attention to important issues, and spotlight programs and people who are improving life in the City of Fredville.

Each request for a ceremonial or recognition document is reviewed individually. The mayor may revise or reword any proposed text so that it reflects the city's vision, mission and goals.

A new proclamation will not be issued when an organization, business or resident simply asks to repeat an earlier one with updated dates.

How to Request

Read the city's proclamation policy first, then complete the request form on this page. Submit it at least 30 days before you need the document so staff have time to prepare it.

Questions? If a staff member has not emailed you within a week of your request, contact the City Secretary's Office at [email protected] or (555) 010-3053.
