Ways to Verify Solid Waste Service
Every business in Fredville must have trash service. Before a Certificate of Occupancy can be issued, the applicant has to choose one of the options listed below, and the Health and Environment Department must receive the required paperwork. Option 1: Dumpster Service From Cardinal Waste Services
- Call Cardinal Waste Services at (555) 010-6755 to start garbage service for your business. Cardinal is the only hauler allowed under this option.
- Sign a service agreement with Cardinal and pay the deposit. You will pick a start date, the right container size and how often it is emptied.
- Bring a copy of your container collection contract to City Hall, 100 Civic Center Drive, 2nd Floor, Fredville, TX 75999.
Option 2: Share the Building's Dumpster With Landlord Approval
- Fill in the Solid Waste Verification Form for tenants and landlords (PDF).
- Ask your landlord to sign the form, which gives you permission to use the property's dumpster.
- Turn in a copy of the signed form at City Hall, 100 Civic Center Drive, 2nd Floor, Fredville, TX 75999.
Option 3: Ask the City for Commercial Bag Service
You may apply for commercial bag service, which the city's Solid Waste Division approves one case at a time. Auto-related businesses and health permit applicants are not eligible. Expect this option to add three to five days to processing.
- Fill out the city's commercial bag and cart service application (PDF).
- Drop it off at the Solid Waste Division, 2750 Ashcombe Boulevard, Fredville, TX 75999. Call (555) 010-8218 first to check landfill hours.
