Fredville's Future Land Use Map guides how the city grows and redevelops, with the aim of development that is efficient, sustainable and financially responsible. It gives the city one shared framework for coordinating growth and for the many land use decisions that come before staff, boards and the City Council.
The map is not an exact formula. The general mix of land uses it shows is meant to offer a dependable direction and a common starting point whenever land use questions are debated.

Note: The city's GIS team is still bringing the future land use map in line with the latest records. Until that work is done, the current citywide version is the 2021 Future Land Use Map, available as a PDF.
