More and more Fredville residents are driving electric vehicles, and demand for convenient, dependable public charging keeps rising. To make charging easier, the city has opened several new public charging sites.
Public EV chargers are now available at these locations:
| Location | Address | Charging ports |
|---|---|---|
| City Hall | 100 Civic Center Drive | Eight Level 2 ports |
| Larkin Library | 4420 Bluebonnet Road | Four Level 2 ports |
| Larkmere Building | 4820 Lakecrest Parkway | Public charging available |
| Crestline Central underground parking | 560 Crestline Place | Public charging available |
To charge, scan the QR code shown on the station's screen; it opens the charging vendor's secure online payment page.
The city is also working toward its own sustainability goals. Its fleet currently includes about a dozen electric vehicles, and Fredville has earned a top-tier green fleet designation from the regional clean-cities coalition, a group recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy as part of its Clean Cities and Communities Partnership.
