Online
Keep in mind that paying a citation in full may lead to a conviction showing up on your driving record.
You can do the following online:
- Request deferred disposition, if you qualify
- Request defensive driving, if you qualify
- Pay the full amount
- Make monthly payments
Use the court's online payment system to get started.
Phone
For full or monthly payments by phone, call (555) 010-3192.
To pay by mail, send the exact amount owed for each violation. You can look up the fine schedule with the Citation and Warrant Search.
A court appearance is NOT necessary unless one of these applies to you:
- You are a juvenile (16 or younger).
- You are a minor (20 or younger) with a tobacco citation.
- You are a minor (20 or younger) with an alcohol citation.
Mail a copy of your citation with a check or money order made out to the City of Fredville Municipal Court. Please do NOT mail cash. Send it to:
City of Fredville Municipal Court
120 Civic Center Drive
Fredville, TX 75999
Write the citation number or numbers on your check or money order so the money is applied to the right case. Payments that are not clearly marked will take longer to post. Returned checks carry a $30 fee, and the case will be reopened and may lead to a warrant for your arrest.
If your payment is not mailed by the appearance date shown on your citation, an extra $60 will be added to the fine for each offense.

Payment Plans
To pay your fine in installments, ask at the Court Clerk window in the court lobby, or see the judge in the situations described below. State law adds a $25 time payment fee to any offense not paid in full within 30 days of the plea or judgment. Standard plan requirements follow.
Note: The amounts below are totals before any time payment or deferral fees are added, and they include every case in the plan.
- A total of $175 or less must be paid right away.
- For totals from $176 to $350, you must pay at least $90 a month until the balance is paid off.
- For totals from $351 to $700, you must pay at least $140 a month until the balance is paid off.
- For totals from $701 to $1,000, you must pay at least $190 a month until the balance is paid off.
- With more than five offenses, you must appear before the judge to set up a plan.
- Plan to make your first payment on the same day the plan is set up.
- When a plan covers several cases, payments go first to the case with the smallest balance. If that case's balance is cleared no later than 31 days after the plea or judgment, no plan administrative fee will be charged on it.
- To clear a warrant, at least half of that case's balance must be paid.
- Cases that receive deferred disposition are also eligible for time payment.
- The court will take a payment that is smaller than your monthly amount, but your due date does not move, and the rest of that month's payment is still owed on the same date. Paying less than what is due does not earn an extension.
- Defaulting on a time payment agreement results in an arrest warrant, along with additional warrant fees.
