This council committee receives briefings and recommendations from City staff on police and fire services, ambulance service, emergency management, public safety in general, environmental services and public health.
Public Comments
Members of the public may address the City Council on any item on a meeting agenda. To speak on a topic that is not on the agenda, fill out a speaker card and turn it in so you can be called during the "Citizen Comments" portion of the meeting. Each speaker has up to five minutes. Agendas for every regular City Council meeting are posted ahead of time on the City Council meetings page.
