Before any earth-disturbing work begins, the property owner or operator must prepare a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3).
Step 1: Know What the Plan Must Include
Send a complete, signed SWP3 to the Stormwater Department electronically for review and acceptance. The plan must follow the TPDES Construction General Permit as well as Fredville city ordinances.
At a minimum, the SWP3 must contain the erosion control plan and the landscaping plans, along with everything the TPDES Construction General Permit (PDF, 66 KB) requires.
The Stormwater Department or its designee will inspect the site's best management practices (BMPs) before any earth-disturbing activity can start. See the construction general permit and BMP FAQ for more.
Review the SWP3 submittal requirements (PDF, 72 KB).
Step 2: Submit Your Plan
Email the completed, signed SWP3 to the Fredville Stormwater Department at [email protected].
Staff are glad to help with your submittal by phone or in person:

Fees
The city does not charge a fee to review an SWP3.
What Happens Next?
Once your submittal is received, review typically takes about three to five business days. If the plan needs revisions from the applicant, approval may take longer.
