About the Service
FredRide is the city's shared, on-demand ride service.
Picture a minibus that shows up when and where you need it. Tell us where to pick you up and where you are headed, and we will offer you a few trip choices.
Pick the one that suits you best, and a driver will be on the way.
The City of Fredville introduced FredRide in 2022.
Riding with FredRide
Getting started takes just a few steps.
Step 1. Set Up an Account
Get the FredRide app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, then complete the sign-up steps.
Step 2. Request a Ride
Type in your pickup and drop-off locations. If you want to leave right now, tap Book This Ride. Prefer the phone? Call (555) 010-2276 to book a trip.
Step 3. Meet Your Driver
To keep trips direct, the app will send you to a nearby pickup spot, possibly a few steps away from the address you typed in. Check the app for the exact location and meet your driver there. Groups riding together get a 3 to 5 minute grace period at the pickup spot if someone is running behind.
