Short Term Rental Parking Requirements

Parking Restrictions for Short-Term Rentals

A short-term rental may have no more vehicles on site than it has off-street parking spaces. Guests may not park on the street.

Owners and operators may not allow, encourage or advise anyone staying at or visiting the rental to bring more vehicles onto the property than the off-street spaces can hold. They also may not let anyone park on an unpaved surface or in a way that blocks a sidewalk.

Guests staying at a short-term rental may not park on any nearby residential street.

Motor homes, recreational vehicles, boats, commercial vehicles and other prohibited vehicles may not be parked or used as living space at a short-term rental or on a nearby residential street. This applies to guests, and owners and operators may not allow it.

No owner, operator or other person may pave over or otherwise cover pervious ground to add parking on the property unless the City of Fredville has approved it first.

Site Plan with Parking Spaces

Your Short-Term Rental Permit application must include an uploaded site plan that shows where the parking spaces for the rental are located. The two sample site plans below show acceptable ways to present this information.
