Permit Overview
Each donation box placed inside Fredville city limits needs its own permit. The owner of every donation box in the City of Fredville must register it with the Code Compliance Division through the online portal.
Step 1: Gather What You Need
Before a Donation Box Permit can be issued, you will need:
- A government-issued ID or driver's license for the applicant
- A site diagram showing where the donation box will sit on the property
- A signed affidavit (PDF) in which the property owner gives permission to place the box on the property
- Documentation, such as articles of incorporation or other business records, showing that the person who signed the affidavit owns the property
Step 2: Apply Online
Submit your Donation Box Permit application through the city's online permitting portal. New users need a working email address to create an account, which takes roughly five minutes.
What happens next?
Once you apply online, processing usually takes about 5 to 10 business days. Applications that need corrections or additional information from the applicant may take longer.
