State stormwater permit information and forms from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality are gathered on the TCEQ stormwater links page.

Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3)

Before any work that disturbs the soil begins, the property owner or site operator must prepare a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan.

Stormwater Detention Basin Maintenance Inspection

Owners of property with a private stormwater management facility must inspect it every year and send the city an annual inspection report when the property is covered by a recorded inspection and maintenance agreement between the owner or developer and the city. The inspection form for detention basin maintenance is available as a PDF.

Drainage Design Manual and Erosion Control Plan Requirements

The Engineering Department reviews drainage plans tied to building permits and development projects, reviews erosion control plans, and issues Clearing, Grubbing and Earthwork Permits. Every development in Fredville must meet the City Drainage Design Manual, as amended, along with the city's Erosion Control Standards.

Standard Details for Drainage and Erosion Control

The Engineering Division keeps the city's standard construction details. They include details for building drainage infrastructure and two erosion control detail sheets. Both erosion control sheets must be included with any grading and erosion control plan submitted for review.

Drainage Plan Review Fees

Under the city's drainage fee ordinance, developers deposit escrow funds so that an independent third party can review the drainage plans for development projects inside the city limits. Fees also apply to Clearing, Grubbing and Earthwork Permits and to the review of single-family lot drainage and grading plans required by a plat.
