Heat schedule: With extreme heat in the forecast, the Fredville Farmers Market will close an hour early, at noon, on August 15, 22 and 29. Longer hours return on Saturday, September 5, when the market stays open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. during Brine Time Fest in downtown Fredville.
The market sets up every Saturday from April until mid-December at Harvest Square, 215 W. Main St., in the heart of downtown. Shoppers will find locally grown produce and plants alongside tamales, baked goods, meats, eggs, honey, spices, salsas, chips, dips and relishes, plus handmade soaps, candles and other artisan crafts.
