Permit Required
Any commercial irrigation project must have a permit approved by the Building Inspections Division before work begins.
Step 1. Review the Requirements
Before a commercial irrigation permit can be issued, you will need:
- A review of the City's minimum design standards for irrigation plans
- The property address and a description of how the property is used
- Contact information for the owner and the contractor
- The kind of installation: new, remodel, repair or addition
- The category of plumbing work, such as a lawn sprinkler, water service or plumbing system
Step 2. Apply Through the Portal
Permit applications are accepted online through Fredville's online permit portal. First-time users must register with a valid email address; creating an account takes about five minutes.
What Happens Next
Online applications are typically processed within 5 to 10 business days. If the applicant needs to make changes or send more information, the review may take longer.
