Brush Pick-Up Program
Brush pickup on your trash day
- In the county that covers most of the city, residents may set out brush and limbs on a regular trash day if they are tied in bundles that weigh 50 pounds or less and measure 6 feet or shorter.
- In the other county, residents have two choices:
- Tie cut brush into bundles of no more than 50 pounds and 6 feet, and set them at the curb on your normal garbage day for Cardinal Waste Services to haul away.
- During the week assigned to your brush zone, stack brush at the curb and the city brush crew will collect it.
Monthly brush pickup
Once a month, the city's Brush Pickup Program collects loose tree limbs, brush and firewood from the curb. Nothing needs to be bundled or bagged, but pieces must be 10 inches across or less and 5 feet long or less, and the pile can be no bigger than a compact car. See brush pickup information for your schedule and the full guidelines.
Report Water Leaks and Sewer Blockages
