Help out at the Kestrel Creek Nature Center Exhibition Garden
At least once a year, the city offers a master composter course certified by STAR. To earn certification, participants complete 20 hours of instruction (16 in class and 4 outside of class) plus 20 hours of qualifying volunteer service, some of it spent composting at Kestrel Creek Nature Center. Every volunteer must pass a city background check. See more volunteer opportunities.
